Six Degrees is a forward-thinking company which provides integrated and managed data services, linking people, places and clouds. We helped them to create their new London office.
The Six Degrees head office in Commodity Quay is a high quality, light-filled space in a marina setting. It required sympathetic refurbishment to make the most of its architectural features. We worked with main contractor BW Interiors to provide a variety of flooring products, giving design, texture, colour and durability across a range of areas.
The main open plan office areas were finished in Desso Libra Lines Carpet tiles, with features provided by Shaw carpet tiles. In the break out areas, tea points and copy areas we installed Bolon feature flooring using multiple colours in a herringbone pattern. Bolon flooring provides a great combination of design, durability, ease of cleaning and sustainability.
Plans were drawn up to incorporate the client’s design requests, and we ensured that the products were installed to the highest standard to show off their features. Tarkett IQ Granit static dissipative tiles were installed to the comms rooms, while Forbo Surestep safety flooring was used in the store rooms. Stairs were finished in Norament vinyl with Gradus nosings in a contrasting colour. Due to product design changes we had a tight programme which involved liaising closely with our client to ensure the project was delivered on time and within budget.
