As part of a 14,000 m2 strip out and Cat A fit out by the main contractor Collins Construction, Aspect refurbished the reception and all lift lobby areas in the six-floor office space - including wall cladding in the ground floor lift lobby.
Two existing timber feature areas were used as the basis of the refurbishment, and the client wanted this material to be replicated throughout the rest of the communal areas.
We sanded and re-varnished the existing timber areas, located at the front of reception, and then specified Havwoods reclaimed oak to match. This was installed not only to the main reception area floor, but also to the reception desk wall, lift lobby walls, and to lift lobby areas on the floors above. These works were completed outside of office hours, minimising disruption for the new tenants.
To complete the project, Aspect also supplied and installed On-track entrance matting with aluminium trim, including inset circular areas for the revolving doors.
The minimalist design of the glass-fronted reception required the installation to be completed with precision, achieving a clean result which was in keeping with the rest of the building’s design.
