Huckletree required a variety of flooring solutions for their dynamic new co-working space. From large-scale herringbone feature areas to an auditorium, an indoor garden and a meditation yurt, this was a project with many different elements and angles, requiring the very best from our fitting team.
Despite fitting floors since 1994 this was our first yoga room - proof that there’s always something new out there!
We supplied and installed Forbo Allura Flex to the central areas and some meeting rooms, laying the tiles three rows deep to create an exaggerated black-and-white chevron pattern.
Interface’s Touch & Tone carpet range created a series of high-impact meeting rooms in bright, rainbow colours, complemented by matching walls. The ‘Moss’ colourway was also used for a sunken seating area in the main area.
At the other end of the spectrum, the natural texture of Alternative Flooring’s sisal carpet brought a calming atmosphere to the indoor garden and meditation yurt areas. We supplied and installed the carpet and curved ramps to create a precise circle.
In a project where so many different flooring finishes were specified for an open-plan space, we needed to carefully manage the level of each area. In the café vinyl tiles bordered an area of exposed raised access flooring, and we supplied and installed bevelled trims to ensure a smooth transition between the two.
